Recently, according to the ‘Shandong Provincial Industrial Design Center Management Measures’ (Lujing Xincheng (2014) 121), the Shandong Provincial Industrial and Information Technology Department organized the fifth batch of provincial industrial enterprise centers list fresh out after the city recommendation, expert review and public announcement. There are seven companies in Yantai selected a new batch of provincial industrial design center enterprises, which are Zhongji Laifushi respectively. Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd., Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd., Yantai Mingyuan Home Textiles Co., Ltd., Yantai Hongyuan Oxygen Co., Ltd., Yantai Dafeng Bearing Bush Co., Ltd., Yantai Durable Watch Co., Ltd. and Shandong Sandi Space-time Three-dimensional Technology Co., Ltd. Another 15 provincial industrial design centers, such as Yantai Ice Wheel Group Co., Ltd., have passed provincial review. Up to now, a total of 22 enterprises in Yantai City have been selected into the list of provincial industrial design centers, the total number of which ranks first in the province.
